Romo Lunch Causes Uproar…
January 22, 2008 – 10:49 amWord spread through Robstown, Texas that Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, was eating lunch at the local Joe Cotten’s Barbecue Restaurant and a mob scene ensued. Romo accompanied by Cowboy’s linebacker Bobby Carpenter went to the lunch to meet with Andrew’s Distributing president Barry Andrews.
When Romo arrived the restraurant was so overwhelmed by fans trying to take pictures and meet Tony Romo that the restaurant manager had to call local cops to keep people away from the restaurant.
Rumor has it Jessica Simpson’s dad, Joe Simpson, personally called all local fans and tipped them off Tony Romo will be in town and he’s the reason so many fans knew Romo was in town…
